Join Us On Our Journey
We are the Cooks, and we view life as a journey to be cherished. We're excited to share aspects of our lives that enhance this experience, including time spent with loved ones, travel, coffee, beer, music, and embracing new adventures.
Life's journey also involves challenges, and we intend to share those moments too. Our aim is to be authentic, which means addressing the tougher times as well, as they often lead to valuable lessons and personal growth.
Thank you being a part of our journey. We hope you find joy in our stories and perhaps take away something meaningful.

About
Us
We are Brian and Angie Cook. Our journey began with a blind date in June 1991, which took some convincing for both of us to agree to, and we tied the knot in March 1992. Throughout years, we've navigated several moves, job changes, and raised two amazing children, Jenna and Seth, together. Having experienced similar type childhoods with various family dynamics, we started our lives together with a lot of the same beliefs about our family values. We've shared our lives with both cats and dogs, driven everything from minivans to two-seater convertibles, and lived in three different states, each bringing its own lifestyle changes. Through it all, we have relied on our faith in God to guide us.
Traveling is a passion of ours. We love exploring breweries, wineries, and distilleries sharing small sample flights of their offerings. We're also coffee enthusiasts, enjoying various single-origin roasts and even roasting our own beans at times. We embrace new adventures, though we prefer to keep them within safe boundaries due to our own fears and respect for our wellbeing. We absolutely find joy in our e-bikes and our 2nd Miata. Both of those take us to back country roads we wouldn't have found otherwise. We also have a deep appreciation for music, whether it's the heartfelt lyrics or the captivating beats.
Now that our daughter and son are grown and have been out of the house for several years, we’ve adjusted well to this new chapter. We take great joy in their successes and cherish every moment we get to spend with them, grateful that they enjoy our company as well.

We have learned through living in the desert, as beautiful as it was, that we enjoy the change of seasons. That's what life is, right? It has different seasons, several of which we have experienced, and we are doing our best to embrace each one.
